1.Remove the pipette holder
If liquid enters the pipette holder, it may reduce suction or damage the components of the pipette holder. To clean or replace components, the liquid pipe holder must be removed.
Rotate the conical interface counterclockwise and then remove it.
Remove the pipette adapter from the filter adapter along with the membrane filter.
Remove the membrane filter from the pipette adapter.
Use a sharp object to pry out the seal from the filter adapter.
2.Clean: Clean the suction aid
Do not perform high-temperature and high-pressure sterilization on the suction aid. e-HC electric pipette does not require specialized maintenance. Before conducting daily experiments, please wipe the outer shell with a clean damp cloth sprayed with 75% alcohol to disinfect the surface.
3.Install pipette holder
Press the seal into the filter adapter.
Press the wide opening of the membrane filter into the narrow opening of the pipette adapter.
Attach the conical interface to the pipette adapter and rotate it until it clicks in.
4.Check the sealing performance
Install the pipette properly.
Suck the liquid and lift the pipette out of the liquid level, making the pipette perpendicular to the horizontal plane.
Observe the outlet of the pipette for about 30 seconds. Note: Do not touch the pipette or press the operation buttons.
If there is no water leakage, it indicates good sealing. Otherwise, remove the liquid pipe bracket and carefully reassemble it for retesting or repair.
5.Maintain the capacity of rechargeable batteries.During the usage cycle, the capacity of rechargeable batteries can be basically maintained.
When not in use for a long time, please: 1. If the suction aid is not used for a long time (>4 weeks), fully charge the battery. Recharge the rechargeable battery every 3 weeks.
