In the lysis buffer, the cells are disrupted and the nucleic acid is released into the buffer.
Add magnetic beads to the buffer and mix thoroughly to bind the nucleic acid to the magnetic beads.
Wash the surface of the magnetic beads to remove unwanted impurities including protein, nucleic acid shards or salt to the solution.
Transfer the magnetic beads to the elution buffer and mix well. The nucleic acid falls off the surface of the magnetic beads and dissolves into the elution buffer
Remove the magnetic beads from the buffer and recover the nucleic acid solution.
